Sodexo's Charter for Inclusion

In order to do this, Sodexo, its customers, suppliers and partners will work to:

  • Promote equality, inclusion and good relations
  • Reduce disadvantage and poverty
  • Eliminate unlawful discrimination

At all levels of planning and service provision, Sodexo will consider all in the community whatever their race/ethnicity, religion and beliefs, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, language, political or other opinions, or socio-economic status.

But, of course, an inclusive culture in which there is mutual respect for individuals and diversity is seen as a strength and cannot be taken for granted. In 2006 a Diversity and Inclusion Council was established to drive these principles, and over the coming year further steps will be taken including focus groups, training and a quarterly newsletter focusing specifically on diversity and equality issues. We also aim to be a partner in the Government's 'Diverse Britain Campaign 2007'.
