Sodexho Pass launches new integrated voucher solution for childcare

Available at www.childcarechoice.co.uk  the new website contains all the information an employer needs to know about Childcare Choice vouchers, from the benefits that vouchers can bring to both staff and business, through to the legislation and practicalities of putting a scheme in place.  New software, designed especially by Sodexho Pass, now enables employers to place orders directly with the voucher specialist.

The interest in this staff benefit has grown enormously since April 2005 when childcare vouchers of up to £50 per week became tax and NI exempt.  The new savings - worth up to £1066 per year per employee has widened the childcare voucher market and made the scheme more appealing to small to medium sized enterprises.  The employer National Insurance exemption on vouchers ordered means employers can now offer staff a real financial benefit in a cost neutral way.

Small businesses have in the past been put off from implementing schemes believing them to be heavy on administration and time.

The new Childcare Choice website aims to act as a simple one stop shop for childcare vouchers.  The on screen instructions guide the employer through each step towards putting a scheme in place.  As all the necessary paperwork is included on the new website a scheme can be up and running in as little as 5 days.  Employees can also log on and use the online calculator to work out what their savings are likely to be over the year.

The Childcare Choice vouchers are available in both electronic and paper formats and can be used to pay for registered and approved childcare.
