Directors Table celebrates success
When Caroline Gardiner took over the helm of Sodexho's Directors Table the specialist provider of catering and hospitality services in London's Square Mile, little did she realise that a year later she would be on stage receiving a prestigious industry award.
Caroline received the award for Contract Caterer of the Year at this year's Cost Sector Catering Awards which were held at the Hilton Metropole in London in April.
Caroline said: "I was surprised and thrilled to hear my name called out as the winner. It is a great honour to receive this award in front of so many people from the industry. I've always said Directors Table is a combined effort, with hundreds of fab people working at every level to produce the very highest standards - this award is proof that their dedication to being the best is now widely recognised."
Caroline joined Sodexho, the UK's leading catering and support services provider in 2004 in a global account sales role.
Since Caroline took the role of managing director, Directors Table has grown from strength to strength winning in excess of £5.6 million of new business and now has a client retention rate of 96% in an increasingly competitive marketplace.

Menu development and innovation is a continual process at Directors Table driven by Anton Edelmann though the Culinary Academy he has established and his highly successful 'Signature Series' recipe booklets.
