Sodexho Healthcare Appoints new HR Director
Sodexho has appointed Steve Moore as its new human resources director for its healthcare division.
Steve has over 14 years' experience across a variety of sectors with significant expertise in managing change in organisations. He also has industrial relations experience from the aerospace and oil sectors.
Most recently, Steve was HR Director for ConvaTec Ltd, the medical device manufacturer and part of Bristol-Myers Squibb Pharmaceuticals.
Previous roles have included HR Manager for TRW Aeronautical Engineering, Head of HR for NTL's networks division and various HR roles for Esso Petroleum Co Ltd.
Steve is also a trustee of the charitable organisation AIESEC, the UK branch of an international student organisation, and lives in Wokingham, Berkshire, with his wife Katie who is an Assistant Head teacher in a high school in Surrey.
Steve comments “In my previous role I developed a real passion for working in the healthcare arena, and I am really looking forward to continuing this with Sodexho. I will be looking for opportunities to support Sodexho employees in providing services which help to improve the quality of life of those who use them.”
Sodexho Healthcare employs over 5,500 people and provides catering and support services to the NHS, private hospitals, nursing and residential care homes and to the social and welfare services sector.
